If you love American history you must spend a couple of hours here. I learned so much about Andrew Jackson and the period he lived in. Very nice museum. Tour his home and the out buildings, including slave quarters and his burial site. The restaurant is closed so check before expecting lunch.

A group of us stopped for the tour and paid $17 for the short tour without the 20 minute film review. The tour throught the house featured two living area on the first floor and two bedrooms, and 4 bedrooms on the 2nd floor. The old furniture was beautiful as was the wallpaper. The back of the house had a... More

My boyfriend and I love history and we had a great time here! It was a lot of money to get in, but we spent four hours here. Very informational, not to mention, also beautiful!

The tour was interesting, but, if you see any other plantations, it will be repetitive. Perhaps if you are a History buff it would be more interesting to learn more about Andrew Jackson. It is a way out of town. The ride on the wagon around the estate was the most interesting part.

This was a great break from the downtown activities and was quite nice. The grounds are beautiful and the garden areas so lovely. We took the extra horse drawn buggy ride and tour through the grounds. It is quite a large area to see and was too far for one of our family members to walk the grounds. The tour... More

See what Jackson lived like. Also, there are actors dressed like Jackson, his wife and staff. If you've seen Mount Vernon, you want to come here

Lot of early American History in one place. Should be a must see for everyone visiting Nashville. Its in the country but also close to Nashville and surronding areas.

The Hermitage is well run and easy to navigate. We thought the pricing was good for the things you see and experience. Had trouble trying to register on online and had to wait to pay when we arrived. A little inconvenient but doable.

We spent nearly 5 hours at the Hermitage and, from the short video at the beginning of the tour to the gift shop at the end, you will enjoy yourself. The grounds are well maintained, the signage is informational and Jackson's home is grand. You will learn a great deal about Jackson's life, his presidency and his plantation during the... More
