We took some out of town friends and were in disbelief in what we were seeing, or should I say weren't seeing. We had last been to Nasher aprroximately 1 year ago and enjoyed it immensely, so we thought this would be a good place to take our freinds from out of town. There were very few sculptures on display... More

World class art in downtown Dallas. Serene setting in urban hustle. An opportunity to view & admire wonderful sculptures. Indoor and outdoor displays. Good for all ages.

This is a lovely melding of sculpture with the natural art of nature. We visited during a time when the inside exhibit halls were being renovated and so only paid half-price for our visit. I am not an expert on art, but I loved the way that the natural setting and sculptures were combined. The building housing the inside exhibits... More

Ray Nasher, who developed NorthPark, the first-class mall for people who can't stomach malls, built an incredible collection of 20th Century sculpture during his life. Then he founded this Center, with a sumptuous Renzo Piano designed structure for its display. The light-filled galleries are perfect showcases for the collection and curated shows of contemporary artists. Most of the space is... More

This is a wonderful collection of beautiful sculptures, collected by the Nasher couple. Also impressive was to see the short movie about their lives and their reasons for collecting all these beautiful art works.

Different type of museum. Worth a trip. Dallas Museum of Art and The Crow Asian Museum are close too.

The Nasher Sculpture Center was very interesting. It's a lot smaller than I expected, though with a huge variety of pieces, but very calming and a pretty day. We visited when the Neto pieces were on display which was lots of fun, but on a normal day it is probably more for artists, not just the everyday visitor.
