The museum has no admission charge and offers limited exhibits of Asian art that can be seen in about 60 minutes or less. The museum is located within a block of the Dallas Museum of Art.

Our dear friends invited my husband and me to visit the museum with them. We were lucky to have seen the exhibits currently showcased: photographs of China by John Thompson, ,Asian bronzes, Japanese lacquer, and High Himalayan tantric art. A corporate collection of oriental art which is totally unexpected!. The quality of the art as well as the exhibit spaces is truly first class. If you go to the Nasher across the street, then go here! It is free, it is rewarding, and you will be glad you went to the museum.

great location, walk from dallas museum of art, very classy and elegant.....but kids will be bored.....there's nothing for young children here, really. this is an adult, asian art fabulous collection

This guy had money and taste. My favorite collection of Asian art in the states. There are volunteers who conduct free guided tours. the quality of pieces is amazing. I prefer the jade dinner ware.

Beautiful museum which was free. They were setting up for a wedding which would be a perfect location. Nice gift shop. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

China through the Lens of John Thompson is an amazing collection of large format pgotography that dates between 1868 - 1872. The Dallas Arts District is marvelous, whether you're just walking your dog at Klyde Warren Park or going to an opera at the Winspear.
