I loved walking to all the little shops and browsing. They also have great places were you can get a bite to eat.

I remember when I was a boy going into to town with my grand-parents on Saturday, McKinney has done a great job of keeping its downtown area the old square active and full of life. From the Christmas celebrations to art festivals, to just going down to the square for a...

I love the older buildings architecture, many family fun events are held here throughout the year. Visit the City of Mckinney website to see the upcoming events. Very friendly shop owners and staff and I love the feeling when you walk down the square, you can embrace the beauty of the buildings and imagine what life must have been like...

I love to go to downtown McKinney to browse the shops, especially the antique stores. The people are so friendly and the atmosphere is so pleasant and relaxing.
Very nice. My wife and I frequent the square often. I highly recommend the Grand Hotel, Ricks Chophouse, Paciulgo's Gelato, and our favorite Squareburger(get the Salmon Burger!).
Full of upscale little niche boutique shops that my wife loved. There was plenty of good food and unique things to keep me interested like the old timey candy shop, salsa tasting shop,...

Fun traditional downtown to stroll around and shop. Lots of cute shops to explore and resturants to snack at. Spend the afternoon browsing shops to discover hidden treasures, we came home with much more then we went looking for!
Can get a bit elbowy on Saturdays, and repetitive with the types of stores, but a nice walk around. Pleanty of antique and womens botique shops

The historic square of McKinney, TX is well worth a visit. There are 'uptown' clothing shops along with the antique, home decor and other miscellaneous shops and restaurants. Just off the main square you will find several quaint shops with a variety of goods. One sales just salsas; a huge variety of salsas that make great gifts or to take...
