My husband and I (he is a photographer, I am not) took a sunset photo tour with Larson, a guide with Navajo Spirit Tours. He began by asking us if we wanted him to talk about what we were seeing or just be driven to the sights. When we established that we were very interested in the area, Larson proved... More

We booked the photographers tour for both sunrise and sunset. Larson was our guide. Simply said-it was magnificant. Larson showed us the "special' places in Monument and Mystery Valleys. He provided "spirited" insights on the valley, the Navajo People and on how to capture the beauty in our photos-I have attached a few examples. These places are only accessible with... More

Met Harry at the lobby of The View Hotel. He was an excellent tour guide. He drove us out to areas and let us explore at a relaxed pace. He was also happy to answer questions and point out points of interests. He went above and beyond to make it a great experience. Navajo Spirit Tours was a highlight of... More

April 27 2013. 0900 - Met Harry Nez by the cowboy in The View. 0902 - ran back to room to get a jumper. 0910 - set off on the Monument Valley Tour. What followed was over three hours of brilliant-ness. History, archaeology, legend, myth, the eye of the sun, the ear of the wind, the Airwolf cave even. Harry... More

After doing some extensive research of family friendly photographic tours, I booked private sunset and sunrise tours with Navajo Spirit Tours. This tour group is professional, answers all emails and phone calls, and will arrive to the View hotel at or before the agreed to time. This tour was the most memorable part of my families 7 day visit to... More

My wife and I booked 3 tours with Navajo Spirit Tours based on the excellent feedback we had seen on TripAdvisor. We were not disappointed. We took 3 tours: Tear Drop, Monument Valley @ Sunset and the Mystery Tour. All 3 were conducted by a wonderful guide - Harry Nez. Actually, for 2 of the 3 tours we were Harry's... More

We did the sunset tour with Harry. A highlight of our trip around the parks in southern Utah. We drove in an enclosed vehicle (fairly old but this is not the place for shinny new vehicles - if you do the valley drive yourself you're in for a really rough ride and if you're in a rental car you better... I loved this tour. It was both a visual and a spiritual experience. A short immersion into the navajo spirit. Garry is a great guide and artist. He's played drums and flute in some amazing spots along the trip, both visually and acoustically. I'd go back for a trip with him for sure.

We booked the full day tour (Monument and Mystery Valley) in advance and had a fantastic day. The scenery was stunning and our guide, Harry, was knowledgable, friendly, interesting and fun. Gaining access to areas we wouldn't otherwise have seen the tour itself was great but Harry made it exceptional. He told us about the rock formations, recounted stories of... More

You see roads and areas of the park that are closed to the general public. Larson is a great guide and very informative. It makes the visit so much more interactive getting a story based on the stories from some of the first people in the area.
