I live overlooking this city owned course. It has been renovated and looks fantastic. Gets a little out of shape due to public play, but it is interesting and play long from the tips. Par 73. No driving range BOOOO

This is a good walking course - not too many hills. It is challenging, but plays pretty easy from the whites. It's a typical muni course, but worth playing if you're in the area. It doesn't compare to some of the better courses in the area, but is a fun track nonetheless.
My son and I played all 18 holes. During the summer, you want to tee off before 10am or you will be hot. But the course was in great condition, the staff was friendly and helpful and the golf was a blast! The prices were great too!

A challenging Troon managed course designed by J Miller. The course does play well to the target golfer. On the back nine you paly in the Lava field. Off the fairway, the ball is gone. Very interesting, bring extra balls and take advantage of all of the bottled water provided. It is warm in June.
We got a deal on our green fees and practically had the course to ourselves. We had a great time.
We were there when Spring was in full bloom soon after a snow storm. The sun was shining bright and there was still snow laying in the red rock mountains surrounding the course. It was absolutely beautiful! We are accustomed to the red rocks & lovely golf courses of Sedona, but there was something magical about the peaceful beauty of...

This is one of the three city run golf courses. It is a short drive from downtown, perhaps 2-3 miles, has some challenging holes with some good vistas of the surrounding area, is very well maintained, and is reasonably priced. The signs on the main road are not well positioned, so ask for detailed directions when calling for tee time....
