Wow, I did not expect this scenery, absolutely wonderful. The bike path goes for a mile. Runners can also run along the bike path to North Beach. A must visit in Burlington!

Once the weather warms up, this place starts to get crazy busy. Waterfront park is spacious and great for walkers, dog walkers, people watchers, frisbee throwers, picnic-ers, or anyone that just wants to run around the spacious wide area with the kids and family. It is close enough to the water to be able to enjoy the lake with easy... More

I visited this park with my wife, cousin and his wife. The views, budding trees and flowers were beautiful. It is a great place to take a walk.

Lots of activity by the water. The Echo Center was a fun little "to do". Nice deli style place at the top of the hill overlooking Echo. Can't remember the name of it.

This area won't win any awards for it's waterfront buildings/design, etc., but there's a great walking/jogging/blading path, and it's as pretty as can be looking out over Lake Champlain on into the mountains of NY State. Well worth a stroll in this area.

Any season of the year, we make time to walk or bike through Waterfront Park. The views are always gorgeous. The park is on the Burlington Bike Path and close to downtown. Amenities include several restaurants and ice cream shops, a ferry to New York state, tour boats, a board walk, a fishing pier, weekend festivals, a small aquarium, and... More

It was quite chilly here on a February morning, even compared to the rest of Burlington, because of the breeze off the lake. But it was still worth it to enjoy the serene, beautiful views. On the east coast, it's rare to see an "urban port" this tranquil. Definitely worth a visit.
