Well what can you say. All the charm is short lived when you have a mad rush of people, cattle, Scooters trying to cross from both directions on a narrow bridge. You hardly get to feel the resonance of Ganga and the serenity of the far surroundings that you expect all way along to your visit to this place

To cross this suspension bridge is always an experience. Not only pedestrians use it but also cows, monkeys and motorbikes so most of the time it is very overcrowded.

Travelled in Feb 2012. This place is truly beautiful and peaceful. You need to be careful when walking across the bridge as people also ride motor bikes on it and there are monkeys also sitting on the bridge.

LJ was very close to our cottage and it connected us to the shops. Interesting walk for human, cows, bikes and monkeys. It is the only way to be connected to the otherside of the ganges. Safe to walk and it is hotspot for the cameramen.

It is once time visit place especially if you have kids with you. The kids will either enjoy the shaky bridge or may get scared. We were 3 families and total of 5 kids. 2 kids got scared as the bridge shook and they started crying so we returned half way. You can buy knick knacks from the colourful shops... More

Firstly visited in the evening of 28 March 2013. Place was too crowded at that time. Please note that Public Car Parking is available not far away from the Jhula. The two-wheeler traffic on Jhoola spoilt the enjoyment of the Jhula in the evening. To avoid traffic on Jhula, visited again in the morning at 6 am and it was... More

Walking over the Laxman jhoola is awesome and interesting. It becomes more interesting if u get photographs by the professional photographer. A number of photographers u may find there, who can give you photos within few minutes.
