A sunny Sunday in May was a great time to revisit Manito Park. Even though it is too early for the roses, we enjoyed walking the well kept paths. Don't miss the Japanese gardens and the Gaiser Conservatory, which has plants from all over the world.

We've never seen so many beautiful lilacs in one place! White, purple, magenta, etc. Very fragrant. We also visited the tranquil Japanese garden, which was beautiful. This was a short visit, but the park is huge with many walking paths to enjoy.

Love the Lilac Garden! The smell was amazing! Early May, so some of the gardens weren't planted yet.

The prime attraction for me at Manito Park are the flowers. The greenhouse is beautiful all year long, especially at Christtmas and then again in the Spring. Nothing. Kids enjoyed everything offered. We did the train, sky lift and carousel. Lots of runners through the park getting ready for the Bloomsday Marathon.

Variety of flora - - like a botanical garden. Beautiful Japanese gardens. Ponds with ducks and geese and long walks through the lilac woods.

All the gardens, even though not in full bloom were very nice, the walking trails and the japanese garden was my favorite

A lovely park with formal gardens, rose garden with hundreds of varieties and a greenhouse not to be missed (tropical plants and flowers) Great kids playground. Wonderful neighborhood for safe walking.

Nothing like a walk in the park. All the different choices, from the rose garden to the Japanese gardens and you can't forget to feed the ducks in the pond.
