This scuba/snorkel trip was excellent! We had a group of 3 divers and 2 snorkelers and there were 2 other divers not in our group. We arrived at the boat dock to a very welcoming staff, coffee and snacks for breakfast. Once the boat was launched we got a beautiful view of the Maui sunrise before arriving at our first... More

The crew at Scuba Shack is excellent. Everyone there wants to make sure you have a fun and safe experience. The boat is fast and gets you to the dive spots quickly leaving plenty of time to dive. Toby has so much experience and knows where all the cool and unusual animals hang out. And Charlie checks and rechecks your... More

I had tried diving ten years ago and stopped because I could not equalize or release the pressure building up in my ears while diving. I got a hold of The Scuba Shack in Maui, to try "after all this time" to see if I could go on an introductory open water dive. Due to the experience of the group... More

My son and I booked a two day dive trip with Scuba Shack and prior to selecting the Scuba Shack I read the reviews for Scuba Shack as well as the others in the area. I noted some of the short falls that some have rated Scuba Shack on however after going out with them for Two days (4 Dives)... More

The staff is the best! They make you feel welcome, secure, and you can trust that you will have a blast doing whatever activity you choose. We set out on a dive/snorkel of Red Hill and Molokini crater, both wonderful spots full of sea life and explosion of underwater fun filled memories. Even if you're a little uneasy with the... More

Awesome dive adventures out to Molokini and Makena. Turtles and sharks and shipwrecks. So much to explore, and the water is clear and warm. Starting off just at sunrise was great - beautiful view of the stars over the water then the sun comes up over Haleakala as we're setting out for the crater. Charlie has the fastest boat so... More

We just returned from our trip to Maui. Three dive days with Scuba Shack and loved all six dives. Toby was a great dive leader. Per-dive briefings with emphasis on safety, great at pointing things out and took wonderful pictures -CD was less expensive than we have encountered with other dive companies. Loved the equipment. We don't like to pay... More

My second trip to Kihei, and my second time diving with The Scuba Shack. I dove three days with Toby as my guide each time. The shop, the boat, the crew and the diving were all excellent! Make reservations early as they only have room for 12 divers per day, and stop by the shop to fill out the waivers... More

The trip was awesome, we really enjoy the full-service dive experience; they provided everything! They were very friendly and really catered to us since we are newby divers. Our DM, Toby made a video/took pics and sold it at the end and we appreciated it soo much! We will use them again for sure!

Myself, my wife, and our two boys dove with Scuba Shack today. Captain Charlie was at the helm, Jen was our divemaster and one or two others filled out the crew. Lets get it on the table; Charlie is gruff. He comes on strong and tells you what he wants. But I did not find him unreasonable or pushy, and... More
