Gorgeous, clean, safe, easy parking, good bathrooms, grassy area for sunbathing, shade, picnic shelter. Good snorkeling from shore, some sandy areas to enter, but beware of coral rocks and strong surf which can appear as deceivingly calm water. Saw fish and turtles immediately.

The is a very large beach. From the parking lot if you walk to the left you get nothing but soft sand. The further south you go the gentler the slope. Fun place to play but not great for boogie boarding unless you're a 12 year old girls like our daughter. In front of the parking lot to the north... More

Get your fins and face mask and hit the water. A fantastic place to get your skin dive on! A lot of folks come through here as a lot of the private scuba classes take place here but most folks sit in the shade of the shoreline trees.

This is a small park and can be quite crowded. The snorkeling is good and on calm days, you could stay out there for hours. The 3 major hotels in the immediate vicinity make for a lot of crying babies and screaming kids. I got out into the water and away from all the activity as soon as I could.

Lots of shops, and good restaurants. There are many traditional Hawaiian things to buy such as tikis and shark teeth.

Free parking, access to restrooms and a beautiful beach make this an excellent value. I didn't get the chance to stay there long on my visit but I thought it would be nice to stay there longer on a future stay. The best part is it's free.

Returned to Kahekili Beach a couple of times, as we could walk there along the boardwalk. Not overcrowded. The reef is fairly extensive, water a little cloudy as quite windy the days that we were there, plenty of fish to see. Entry & exit can be a bit tricky as the coral is very close to shore and drops of... More

This beach was recommended to us by our valet. What a great find!! Beautiful grassy area, trees, showers, restrooms with changing areas. The snorkeling was really good and we even saw an octopus. It's a definite 'to do' for next year. Packing a lunch and chill for the day. Yes!!!
