I really enjoyed very very soft sand beach. There were so many colorful tropical fishes so I didn't even get tired with more than 1 hour snorkeling. I miss this island.
Beautiful, but very much a tourist trap. They'll charge for anything they can, take your own towel and snorkel set if you can. Food there was better than I expected. You'll see lots of tropical fish if you snorkel. You'll also probably share a boat with a ton of Japanese tourists, and the tour staff on my boat didn't bother... More
Kind of a pain to get to, but well worth. The marine life is amazing, the sand is white, the water is blue, and the Japanese tourist are annoying. Find your own little spot away from the hoards of tourist and chill out for the day.
The boat ride out to the island. Great ride across the large lagoon to the island, where a lifeguard stand sat but without a lifeguard. Since just leaving my seasonal job at Sandy Hook, New Jersey as a lifeguard for the National Park Service, I climbed to the top of the stand and sat for a while feeling very comfortable... More
Managaha is a beautiful sandy beach! Snorkeling is one of the best to do in this island. The water and sandy beach is so clean. The fishes were so colorful and attractive! Great place for some under the sun and time for family and friends! :)
the island is busy with tourist, but the snorkeling was great. lost of fish and marine life. get there early and grab a spot under a tree on the north side of the island 100 yds or so from the crowded main beach. We did not take the $15 ferry but instead chose the $25 "Banana Boat" ride from the... More

words really can't describe! phenominal place - can't wait to return.. isolated from the main land but close enough to swim to if you desired...
Managaha is a must visit if you come to Saipan. There really is not much to do there but the view is wonderful.
Although this is a major tourist trap and prices are expensive and nothing is free, it's beautiful, well kept island. If you would rather not hang with the tourist there are many places you can park yourself without too much interference. Great snorkeling, gorgeous fish, friendly staff. Be careful, the sun is intense.
