We have done several food tours and this one is at the top for variety and quantity of food offered. We stopped at 7 establishments, including an olive oil tasting. Chris did a nice job alternating between light stops and heavier portions. I agree that a few more stories about Asheville would have been nice to fill in during the... More

Enjoyed our recent tour with Chris. Great selection dining spots in downtown Asheville. Delicious little bites gave a taste of the diverse cuisine in downtown Asheville. On other tours our guides have been a fountain of history, trivia and urban legends of the areas visited. This tour needs just a bit more filler for the "dead air" walking time between... More

Did the food tour last week. Nice downtown walk, and the variety of food, drink items was great. We made a return visit to the Green Sage twice and for dinner to Chestnuts. A tasting/learning experience.

This was my husband and I's first food tour. What a wonderful experience! We had a great time with Chris and met some very nice people in our group. I would go again without a doubt...I only wish I would have signed up for the Biltmore tour also! Maybe next time. I would highly recommend taking the food tour for... More

I watch toooo much Food Network and love to experiment in the kitchen, so I jumped at the chance to do this tour when my husband suggested it. We had a great time trying out the different restaurants and visiting with others on the tour. If you like to eat, you gotta go!

Karl and i have been on several Foodie tours around the country and this was honestly the best. Chris was a terrific tour guide providing us with Asheville history and helpful information about Asheville and a great combination of food stops along the 3 hour food and walking tour. There were eights stops so the tour went surprising quick. Amongst... More

Our family took the food tour in early April as a present for my wifes birthday. This was the first food tour we have tried in any city. It turned out to be a very unique and amazing way to learn the local cuisine. Chris, our guide, was very friendly and did a great job of providing knowledge of the... More

This was my first trip to Asheville and the food tour is the very first thing we did upon arrival. It turns out that the food tour was the perfect introduction to the city! Downtown is a little congested with bars, shops, galleries, and restaurants everywhere! By taking the walking food tour, we got a chance to casually view the city... More

This is my first trip to Asheville and my first food tour. When my wife told me she had booked a food tour I was a bit skeptical but I had a great time. I found the tour provided the following: 1. Great food (of course) 2. Nice walking tour of downtown 3. Knowledgable guide 4. Pleasant meet and greet... More

My daughter and I recently took the downtown Asheville food tour, and we had a blast! I photographed the tour for my blog, and there was not a shortage of photos! All of our stops were excellent choices...two were actually shops (a chocolate shop and an olive oil and balsamic vinegar shop). Our host, Chris, was a great tour leader,... More
