The Museum was a great experience. Clean, well signed, easy to navigate, and great treasures. Enjoyed the photography exhibit, the Van Goghs and the architectural exhibit. Ate at the 2nd floor Cafe and food was fresh and inventive. We arrived at around 2 PM and the Rain Room line was already too long to get people in before museum closing.... More

Such a wonderful and diverse collection. All to be appreciated, some to be amused by, some to challenge you, but all to enrich you. If you happen to be going on an inclement day, I recommend that you get there early to avoid the crowds.

After spending the better part of a day here I can say that you will definitely need it to see everything. Six floors of everything from Warhol to VanGough. Go earlier in the day to avoid the mass crowds. There also usually something cool in the special exhibit galleries

This is not going to be shocking to anyone...MOMA is fabulous. We enjoyed it immensely and did not realize that Van Gogh's Starry Starry Night was here so thought that was quite a find. We sort of stumbled on several artists whose works are iconic...Monet's waterlilies and Warhol's Campbell Soup cans. It was a great experience and the artwork was... More

Moma is a nice place. The building is super, the cafe excellent. The art somewhat overrated. But in all a nice experience.

If you like art or sculpture that has been produced with skill then this is not the place for you. In one room one wall had an abstract black/blue painting, why?. One floor was enough for me I don't think I could force myself to see another 5 floors of pretensious nothing. Fortunately it was free as i had a... More

The Museum of modern art or MoMa is a six floor art museum that costs $25 to enter. My wife and I went on a beautiful Saturday and was pretty surprised to find zero lines for entry or bag check in. We seen advertisements for this exhibit called the Rain Room, was advised by the person selling us our tickets that... More

I grew up in NY and this is still my favorite museum. It was renovated a few years ago and I like it better. The collections of great modern art is unsurpassed. Its not a very large museum, so you can do it all. The sculpture garden outside is lovely, with many great works (Moore,Picasso) and just a wonderful place... More
