The original building is amazing and the addition is well done--interesting exhibits always and the cafe is excellent
Some exhibits are great while others don't interest me that much. It is a beautiful building and worth seeing just for that reason. It was the site of the novel "RAGTIME"
The recent and long-awaited renovation of the Morgan Library and Museum was well worth it. The new entrance is beautiful, light-filled, and welcoming. Once inside, we were awe-struck by the incredible architecture and decorations of the original buildings as well as the incomparable collections. Has been recently renovated and is a spectacular piece of architecture, very charming to behold. There is a ever changing series of historical documents and artworks on display inlcuding manuscripts, paintings, drawings, letters from historical characters, as well as an interesting permanent collection. Also a nice cafe to while away a few hours.
