It's tough to fathom this location ~ part store & part food court (a really high end one). It's overwhelming with the amount of choices in product, noise, and space. Around every corner, another restaurant awaits - each with its own cuisine/specialty. We opted for the pizza/pasta one & after a short wait (they text your phone so we walked... More

At Eataly you'll find an impressive collection of food booths and specialty Italian groceries at good prices. This is not an inviting environment for a sit-down meal (mostly stools and counters), but a good choice for something quick and of high quality.

A ten star wholefoods Italian stye. Plan to eat, look, learn, shop.Get there when the doors open or you will be in line.Don't take small kids there isn't enough space for them and temptation to touch is lethal to their health, and your pocketbook. same goes for wheelchairs. If you know Italian cooking this is heaven if you don't then... More

I work above Eataly and find every excuse to visit their awesome restaurants and mini stores. I often visit their vegtable area. They have an awesome selection of beautiful veggies(a lot of them I've never seen or heard of before). They have a great roof beer garden, but don't expect the usual american selection of beer. They have great wine... More

Very good food all around, from the seafood stand to the gelato. You can spend half a day in this place just eating and drinking at the different stations. The market is wonderful as well, with a variety of Italian goods. The only problem we found here is the amount of people, it was amazing how crowded this place was,... More

The first impression at arrival was how busy the place is. All previous reviews are correct. Beware!! Not the place for a romantic dinner. No doubt that the food and the market is very good. It is some way expensive. A pound of premier prosciutto around 25 dollars ( 5 above what u get in other places ), a bottle... More

It is so alive as you walk the different sections of the market. It is really a nice place to people watch as you drink a nice glass of wine while snacking on some prosciutto. Different artisan breads, nice veggies, cheeses-- just a bit for everyone.. Really a nice place to buy those hard to find italian items...

Extra-ordinary ! In the middle of 5th Avenue, ground floor and off the street - a 'half italian food hall/half italian restaurant'. Great fun, huge halls, buzzing, great value - both to buy and to eat there! Lots of different sections [ wine/snacks, fish, meats, desserts, coffee areas] .... so a dine around opportunity in just one place. Overall value... More

If you love anything Italian you must make a stop at Eataly!! And if you are a cook then you definitely need to come here. I visited the Eataly in Torino and loved it and was very excited to visit this one in New York. I was not disappointed. Everything is set up to look beautiful and delicious!! We also... More

If you want an Italian Market in NYC then you must go to Eataly! This place is for serious foodies! Anything Italian can probably be found here. The market is set up in sections much like a real Italian Market would be. You get your cheese from the cheese monger, fish from the fishmonger, etc. There are 4 restaurants in... More
