Don't miss a ballet when coming to NY especially if you love it. November - the Nutcracker - MUST SEE!
I always love visiting the NYC Ballet. The hall is wonderful and you can see the performances, just about from any seat!
One of the world's best ballet companies (I think the best after seeing other world renowned companies) leaves you in awe. The experience is almost overwhelming. Seats can be expensive and hard to come by (especially for The Nutcracker around Christmas) but, by and large, good seats are available and can be had usually up to the day of the...

If you like Ballet its a place you must visit while in NYC. While I like ballet and appreciate the Art, I have never taken any lessons myself but as you watch these wonderful performance you feel as if you could and is place of the show.
Balanchine's New York city ballet-one of the top ballet companies in the world, with a first class orchestra playing live music. An unbeatable combination. Sometimes can get 1/2 price tickets on the day of performance at the Rubinstein atrium. There are good restaurants nearby and the Time Warner Center.
My family had never been to the ballet before this past December, but my wife, my son, and myself loved it so much we've now gone twice in just two months. In December, we saw The Nutcracker, and it was so beautifully done with such great dancing and sets, we decided to see The Sleeping Beauty in February. That show...

Lincoln Center and the Koch Theater housing the ballet have been re-modeled and they look stunning...But, that is not the reason to go. One of the best in the world at Lincoln center, nyc. Famous Nutcracker seen in December each year, & the prime Ballets are danced nightly! Ballerinas must be of the best all around dancers from around the Globe!
It is undeniably the best place to go for ballet. The ballet is full of grace and beauty. The dancers make it look so easy and we know is not. The years of practice and the sacrifices they make is incredible. We admire them, but ,of course you have to like ballet,to enjoy it.
The NYC Ballet performance we visited on the 7th Feb was amazing. The orchestra combined with spectacular visual ballet was sublime. There were 3 ballets, with two intermissions. The Western ballet was our favourite. The house champagne is a steal at 11$. Excellent!
