This was an awesome farm & staff. You would be wise to take this on for a day. The entire family had so much fun. I loved every moment.

A friend and I (late 60's) read about seeing Gettysburg on horseback in our local paper and decided to do it. Since we had flown 3000 miles, we signed up for the 7 hour tour. Neither of us are experienced riders but it didn't matter. It was great! We're both history buffs and learned so much more about tactical decisions... More

I tagged along with a group from work for a horse back riding tour of the Gettysburg battle fields. I usually plan outings for a group, but this time I left it up to "the guys". Well, they don't plan very well so we got lost and were 10 minutes late for our tour. By the time we got there... More

My 2 sisters (50ish) and I had a great experience touring the battlefield on horseback. Pam was excellent with making arrangements. Due to uncertain weather we weren't sure if we could ride. Luckily it cleared up at the last minute and were able to have our 6 pm tour. Since others cancelled due to the weather, it was just us,... More

This was a very awesome, personal horseback tour on the battlefields. I rode with Confederate Trails in the past & Hickory Hollow blows them away. Pam is so personable on the phone & fits your ever need into this ride. We changed times at last minute because it was so cold in the am and it was changed without any... More

We had a wonderful time touring the battlefield on horseback.Pam was a great help with our reservations and getting us set up. Joe was an informative tour guide and Becky our handler was wonderful with the horses. We would highly recommend Hickory Hollow Horse Farm for a memorable experience while visiting Gettysburg.

Touring Gettysburg Battlefield on horses gives a different perspective to the battles and why the armies made certain decisions based on the topography. Our certified National Park guide, Terri, did a very nice job explaining the military strategies and unintended consequences of those decisions. We were glad to have previously read Civil War histories, visited the Park Museum, and had... More

My husband and I decided to go to Gettysburg to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and thought that it would be really special to do the horseback battlefield tour. It was definitely one of the best decisions we could have made. Pam and her friend are very professional but full of fun as well. Our Licensed Battlefield Guide, Terry Latschar... More

My sweetie and I had an experience like no other, riding the trails along the confederate lines, through the woods, right up through where Pickett's charge took place and onto the battlefield! It was amazing. The National Park Service guide was informative, the horses were gentle and friendly and Pam, Becky and the others from the farm took very good... More

My friend and I decided to do the battlefield tour, even tough she had never ridden before. I checked all of the options, and am so glad we chose Hickory Hollow! Pam and her staff did a great job of matching people and horses and we had a wonderful time. The animals are well taken care of and you can... More
