I'm not a car buff, but have been here many times...taking friends or attending affairs. The cars are amazing, gorgeous and full of history! Well worth an afternoon journey to enjoy!

This is a very unlikely place for a high quality auto museum. But the founder of the museum is a local developer who made a fortune and has given back some of that fortune via the museum. Ken Behring has contributed some of his private auto collection, and has gotten some fellow collectors to periodically donate cars on a rotating... More

The cars can show you what we lack in society.. Elegance, pride, craftmanship. Today it's more of a commodity because cars all look the same unless you go over the 100,000 mark. Worth taking Grandp or Grandma for a lunch in Blackhawk for some tequila shots then go enter the museum. Grandma and Grandpa will remember the good old days...............

When we decided to drive to California my spouse said the one thing he wanted to do was go to a car museum. We found a list and he said he wanted to see the Blackhawk. We have been in lots of car museums in NA and Europe and this has to be one of the very best. If you... More

Probably the best attraction in the East Bay, well worth a detour. A great collection that never gets old, regardless of your automotive tastes. Old Hollywood, Detroit chrome, European histories, one of a kinds, they have it all in one place. Keep the new ones coming!

Laying in the mist of the Blackhawk Plaza Shopping Center, it is a nice museum with about 75 cars. Most are from the Pebble Beach Car show and mainly luxury cars from the 20's and 30's. Had some very interesting rare one, plus a collection of old gas pumps and Record players. Very interesting to find out the owner was... More

This has the most beautiful old cars, and the floors shine like mirrors. It is located in a beautiful shopping center with great food too. Its just a really gorgeous area in Blackhawk and you would have a great time visiting the shopping and the cars. They also have weddings and events there. Check it out.

The museum is one of a kind. Its located in a very exclusive residential area but the people who work at the museum are very nice and friendly.
