It just seems like the beach from Jax Beach to Atlantic is very seedy at times and can have an unsafe feeling.

What can I tell you, but this was the best part of my trip to Jacksonville. The parking was a little difficult, but to be fair, most beaches have the same issue. There are so many restaurants and boutiques for the ladies. The beach is clean and the people are nice.

This is a small family oriented beach. It has no public facilities on it (no rest rooms or chair rental). It is in a residential area and therefore blissfully quiet.

Visited while at "Dancing In The Streets" music festival. Allot of music and dancing. Some crafts and allot of people. Fun time and very friendly crowds. Streets are easy to navigate too.

Atlantic beach is amazing if you are in Jacksonville. Great city life! Such a friendly place to be and stay!

Atlantic beach is the best beach town in Jacksonville! Lots of restaurants, bars, and shopping in the town center. Locally owned coffee shop (Lillies) and book store (The Book Mark). Atlantic beach itself is a great, family friendly public beach.

Almost devoid of people during the week days. Great locals willing to advise about where to eat and how to get there
