Beautiful murals on the ceiling, quaint atmosphere, lake very close... Everything that should be great in a Church is great here. Must see for anyone.
Been there with family several times and last visit happened during April 2013. Happy to see that the church is in old charm and its getting managed very well. This is one of the place you can see excellent sculptures and mural paintings. You can reach the place by road / boat from Alleppey (Kerala)
Located again on the backwaters, this is a beautiful church with pristine ambiance. I was surprised that one needs to remove the shoes to enter, but well worth the visit. The ceiling was very nicely done and to think its so old, that’s amazing.
Maria Heritage is very much on the bank of back waters.Travellers can stay or enjoy houseboat. Good place to loiter and relax.
Very b'ful and well maintained church....the inners of this church are so b'ful....painting and pulpit are a delight to see....very calm ambience....the church has been kept very well....however its sad to see foreigners/tourists just stepping inside and clicking hopelessly without caring to show respect to the fact that its place of prayer and faith to countless people.

The church was supposed to have been built by the Portuguese in 1579 on the site of one of the 7 churches founded by St Thomas the Apostle in the 5th... More
