It is very good and worth visiting. Have a house boat ride. Just sit and watch. Even travelling by a normal boat is also good

Need not any development , but need to go back to thqt of 1950's or 60's !!. Development of Kuttanadu( ie: famous back waters in Kerala) is not on a right way. It should strictly adhere to it's purity. Should have allow to remain it's divinity. Which is not at all a view of Kerala Government or Kerala Tourism.

We had read reports of thousands of boats now running the trips around the backwaters of Kerala and although there were many to be seen, once you got off the main central lake area then you did not run into that many of them provided your boat driver knew where to take you. We were on Johnsons Eco Boat, only... More

We loved a lot the backwaters cruise from Breeze Backwaters Homestay. Much better than from busy Alappuzha...

We came to Kerela to see the backwaters in particular - they were not what I expected but still were very good. Go on a small canoe in the real backwaters if you get the chance.

Before reaching the houseboat I was thinking that I must have reconsidered the timing for cruise since it was very hot & humid. But once I entered the houseboat I never had to regret about my decision. It was very neat & clear double story boat with enough space on the deck as well as the two bed rooms in... More

I was taken on a 3hrs trip organized by the Adenz Backwater Homestay and enjoyed it very much. The big Houseboats my be a romantic way to spend a day or night but they will only show you the same places as the will stop stop for the night near the villages. and in my opinion pollute the waters -... Most breathtaking and beautiful experience I've had. The backwaters were very lively, you got to see the way that people live there and the tour guides were very helpful and patient (especially for the slower kayakers!)

The Backwaters are too good and should not be missed.Specially when you take a ride in a Boat or a House Boat the flow of water is constant and flowing and the greenery across the coast line is soothing and satisfying.
