We drove here. If your from out of town, I would suggest using the shuttle. When you walk in there is a cozy charming atmosphere. Once the tour the begins they very knowledgeable tour guide will offer you a refreshing Rum Tea drink. They bring you through the facility imparting a lot knowledge. Once you return to the beginning, they... More

Shuttle driver told lots of stories along the way so we all pitched in and tipped extra for a longer ride back. Small hot distillery but interesting and informative. Thought the ticket price was high for what you get. I live in TN so I guess I was expecting something similar to the Jack Daniels Distillery. But, enjoyed the five... More

Our tour guide, Robert was fantastic! We opted for the French Quarter shuttle pick-up (in front of the Organic Banana- which, btw, you CANNOT visit without ordering a "naughty monkey"), and Robert picked us up and drove us to the distillery. Along the way he did a great job describing Hurricane Katrina landmarks, as he did inside the distillery as... More

This was one of the activities we scheduled for our wedding weekend in NOLA and it was truly worth every penny and more. Our tour guide was awesome, the information was terrific, and the rum tasting at the end was delicious I highly recommend this for anyone visiting NOLA!

I booked this for a group thinking it would be fun and interesting (and get us off Bourbon for a couple hours). We went on Saturday, so we had to take cabs. Once we got there, we had a mixed drink that was delicious. The tour started on time, but first half hour was standing in one place in an... More

Bethany, Thank you for the feedback. We like to account for all of our customers experiences in order to improve. I was very surprised to hear that your tour was over an hour - they usually last 35 to 40 minutes. I also want to apologize for the heat, as I understand that the distillery is rather warm in the... The distillery is hard to find and is not walking distance from the French Quarter but was a nice change. The tour is interesting in general but the distillery itself is run down and a little dirty. You get to taste the different rums and the new Gingeroo which we loved. If you also like the Gingeroo you better buy... More

I want to thank you for your feedback and respond to your review in order to rectify this situation. While we are not a comfortable walking distance from the French Quarter, we do offer reservations on our complimentary shuttle to and from our distillery. I also understand that our distillery is not as polished as other tourist destinations, but we... More

Beware....don't try to walk here from the French Quarter. We did not know how far out it was and attempted to walk. After about a mile we flagged down a taxi, and it was at least another 3 miles or more after that....and not in the best neighborhoods. That being said...this place is worth the trip. We took the tour,... More

What to do when rain alters your outdoor activity plans? Vist the Old New Orleans Rum Distillery. We arranged for shuttle pick up in the French Quarter. Our affable driver turned out to also be our tour guide and general manager of the distillery, who served guest cups of sweet tea with spiced rum before the tour even began. It... More

The tour was great and very informative. You get samples of all their rum, and it was all amazing. Transportation provided. For 10 bucks, you get free drinks and free transportation. Best deal in New Orleans, all for the price of one drink elsewhere. It's a don't miss if you're a rum lover.
