With a Zell Card we were able to take the local bus to the bottom station and make our way up to the top where we enjoyed a meal and drink. We made our way down on to the glacier and round before traversing back up. This was a real experience to enjoy a walk on the glacier in blazing... More

An excellent resort to visit. Kitzsteinhorn glacier has something for everyone! For the past 3 years I have taken a group of 45 children and adults to here and cannot recommend it highly enough. The Ice Camp, the Big Apple and other attractions on the mountain. Plenty of runs on wide pistes at different levels from beginners to experienced skiers... More

Had two days on the glacier, definately worth a bus ride, although I wouldnt stay in Kaprun itself. The restaurants on the glacier were amazing, so much choice! The conditions were excellent even in Mid march, I wasnt expecting so much snow!

Being a glacier, conditions were excellent when the resorts were a bit mild. Mainly drag lifts though but there is an high up restaurant/viewing area, and an icebar.

Perfect snow, pleanty of powder, some of the easiest black slopes you can find. Best views of the Alps on a sunny day. Shame about the amount of drag lifts, but understandable as its on a glacier. Always busy and there is some queuing, but nothing to get irate about. Overall well worth a visit

Really enjoyed day spent there. Whatever conditions always snow here. Some good runs even if a little busy.

The glacier offered great wide slopes, small lift queues and fabulous facilities including clean modern toilets by the main lifts. The après ski was nice especially at the very top.

I skied in many places, including glaciers and I will certainly not come back to Kitz. Many basic lifts, especially at the top, narrow skiing routes, no ski school for children available (you need to find one in town), very expensive food (9-10 Euro for a pasta, 5 Euro for a soup). Kitz gave me no thrills, unfortunately.

Very busy but great snow when other snow was failing so late in the season. Note so keen on the old fashioned T bar lifts
