A-mazing! Welcome Ezell's Express to the wonderful lineup of Food Trucks in Seattle. Great Weather, great experience! Crowds were a bit out of control... just overly busy but the beer gardens were well stocked and not as crowded!

This place Is so cool unique sights. It has like a hippy vibe. We visited the Fremont Market one Sunday. The market offered a wide variety of goods for sale lots of trinkets of old and new items. They even had food for sale. Everything smelled really yummy.
Just to set the background here, we really enjoy finding places and visiting them. When we drive by somewhere, we make note of the name and on those days when we are sitting around wondering what to do, we go to that list. I will be honest in saying that most of the places we need to visit are in...

Fancy that! The troll gets the image for Freemont! Well, what can I say? Freemont is a fabulous neighborhood. Shops that are hip and fun & funky places to eat.
funky shops and funky people. Very interesting on occasion. Not large enough to visit frequently, you would run out of places to see. The annual nude bicycle ride is an event to behold (so I hear)
We went to go to Theos and noticed the dinosaur shrubbery on the Canal. My daughters love anything Dino so we went to take a look. Decided to walk and find the troll and several other attractions. The girls enjoyed getting their pic taken with each one. There was one homeless person, byt March is pretty quiet, the only others...

The expected coffee bars and eateries...but check out the Troll and the Statue of Lenin and there's even a rocket. A fabulous Saturday or Sunday walk-about destination. Very laid back and of you must go to the street market on Sundays. Off to one side is an almost underground market with some great finds.
The market itself has all of...

This is a leftover piece of the beatnik era with lots of fun things to see, and friendly place grogg and grub. The summer markets and the Solstice parade are famous (notorious) on their own.
If you're looking for quirky, and to see the famous "Waiting for the Interurban" and "Troll" statues, then this place is perfect. There is a plethora of wonderful ethnic restaurants and Bars for the late night young crowd. The boutiques have many really different designer clothes,, but they are WAY too expensive for my taste. My favorite night out there...

Ignore those brochure which promise you "Delectable and knowledgable tour of Fremont. Discover the magic etc etc". You won't feel the magic from a vehicle. Take a bus from downtown or a cab. We took a cab and got dropped off at 36th and Fremont Ave. My advice: take a map from the hotel and walk anti-clockwise, tracing the art...
