My fiancee is an archeologist so of course we had to see the Peabody. The exhibits were very well done. This old New England institution has long been a fixture of the Harvard campus. It has great exhibits on the native peoples of the Americas. We visited this museum in October 2012 for the Fiesta Latina event and we had an amazing time! The staff and volunteers were super friendly; the food samples delicious; the especial activities an presentations were beautiful; the stands were very informative. One of the best exhibits of the history of the Americas. So much to learn and see in these exhibits. Great for goths kids and adults.

Entrance buys access to both the Peabody museum and t he natural museum. An afternoon of discovery. Highly recommended.

The well-planned exhibits, building architecture and overall modern flair make this an excellent museum well worth your time.

There many artifacts from Native American people on display. I particularly enjoyed seeing the clothing and basketry that was on display. It's amazing to see close up these expertly hand crafted items. Also there were many artifacts of Meso-American groups. the glass flowers and check out the mineral exhibit while there. a great way to spend the afternoon.

Overall we were not very impressed with Peabody Museum. Our favorite was the minerals collection, it's truly breath taking.

very well organized. it's free for cambridge residentes. i loved to see a stuffed giant pinguin and a kiwi! it connects to harvard natural museum. good value!
