We got to the facility about noon about the same time that a downpour occurred! We had umbrellas but yes we did get wet. So between rain drops, which we didn't care about, we experienced a well laid out zoo. We go to a few and this was is such an easy walking zoo. Our poor map got drenched and...

I enjoyed our day trip to Zoo Atlanta, entrance is really cheap compared to the good number of animals you'd see.....Landscaping and simulation of the animals' habitat are really impressive......There are a lot of trees, so you'd always feel there's a shade everywhere you walk to, as well as benches to sit on, and food/drinks counter.....Zoo size is just right,...

The trip to the zoo was a pleasant surprise...The kids loved it! The train ride, the petting zoo, the rides, and playgrounds made it a good place to spend a day. The restaurants are nice but a few more options would be a good idea. The employees there are very friendly and knowledgeable and never get tired of answering inquisitive...

The animals appear to be in a natural habitat. This is a really good zoo. I have friends that are "vets in the know."....and they say the animals are loved and well taken care of. I really like visiting this zoo!
The panda exhibit is first rate. I liked it better than the one at the San Diego Zoo. The 4 pandas were all very active while we were there.
They've made a lot of improvements to this zoo, so the animals are more visible. They have posted feeling times, and there is always someone around the answer questions. It's not the most amazing zoo I've ever been to, but it isn't terribly far behind San Diego or Washington DC, which is saying something.
This is a smaller zoo, but beautifully laid out with awesome exhibits. The animals habitats are all lovely and well planned. This is one of the few zoos in the United States that partners with China to breed Pandas and it is well-worth a trip to see these animals in a very close-up exhibit.
Parking is horrendous - zoo small & old - but it was wonderful to see the Panda's!!! Only one of 4 zoo's in the US that has hem.Definitely worth a trip.
