No matter for just a walk, visit the dog park, or go to a special event this is always a lovely spot to hit in the middle of the city. On the street free parking can be frustrating, especially with permit parking in the area (and it is monitored and you WILL get a ticket). And signage is small so keep... More

We love Piedmont Park, and especially love to catch this annual festival in the spring. Park is large, green, has great kids playground, and nice lake.

The park is full of locals on picnics and exercising and enjoying the beautiful weather. This is located in the middle of midtown and is a great little break away from the city.

When we attended Piedmont park, there was a superhero 5K going on at the same time. We enjoyed people watching and exercise. Lots of space even with a crowd of people there.

One of the major reasons why I love Atlanta is Piedmont Park. It's HUGE, much like NYC's Central Park, and there's always something happening. Festivals, concerts, sporting events...you name it. The place is awesome for attending some of the best festivals, but it's also perfect for a stroll or relaxing picnic. Oh, and their massive dog park is AWESOME, if... More

The park was very well maintained. It had a lot of different fields on it so people could play things soccer and baseball. There were some guys playing cricket when we were there. There was alot of open space. The grounds were beautiful. Tons of people were walking the trails. Over the weekend, they even had a jazz festival going... More

Great feel and atmosphere. Always something going on. Parkside Tavern. Walk your dog. Great Midtown area boutique restaurants and coffee shops. Botanical gardens next door-for young and old.

City views, happy people, tons of green space, playful dogs... Everyone in Piedmont Park is happy. You can find a fresh market here on Saturday mornings with local vendors, yoga in the park, plenty of joggers, and a generally content mood among the visitors.

Great for walking, biking, or surfing downhill on your belly like I saw one kid do. Nice trails; large, inset pond; rolling hills; green space galore. Trees of all kinds. Plan a picnic and enjoy!
