This wasn't a quiet beach, but the endless activities were fun, and snorkeling was good - we saw two sea turtles both times we went snorkeling.
This beach was very nice. Great snorkeling and very clear water. We swam with the turtles here. The beach is great for small children. The water was calm and shallow for a quite a distance. There are showers and clean bathrooms. Also a lot of parking spots. Dont skip this beach if you like to snorkel!
Beautiful location, but filed with umbrellas, chairs and tourists. If you want to lie on a beautiful beach and have pricy drinks and lunch delivered to you, this is your place. For a more authentic Maui beach experience, try one of the beaches away from the resorts.
Mike, Vene and Kevin have a traditional outrigger canoe and provided one of the most cultural and fun experiences I have ever had on Maui! We saw dolphins and Turtles and learned so much about Hawaiian history! Everyone should do this trip - only $35!!!
The beach is directly from the Grand Wailea hotel. It is a public beach so there are a variety of people visiting. The beach is clean. The sand is so soft. The water is clear. There are plently of chairs available.
No matter where we stay in Maui, we make our way to Wailea Beach several times. It has gorgeous white sand, blue water and great waves for boogie-boarding. The snorkeling is so amazing that snorkel tour boats moor off coast just a bit. There are bathrooms and showers for your convenience.
