Decent amount of history of the riverwalk and informative. A bit of comedy as well. Good time on a nice afternoon.
If you plan on going to the River Walk you NEED to take the boat ride its about 35 min long and costs $8.25 ( super reasonable price ) . You get to take a river ride that pretty much goes the entire length of the River Walk, some very scenic spots but I liked that you get a lot... More
We took this boat ride first thing in the morning. There were only 8 passengers total. The guide gave us so much information that I only grasped a few bits and pieces. The ride took 30 minutes, longer than I expected for the very reasonable cost of the tickets. It was an excellent way to get an overview of what... More
A good place to start your visit to downtown San Antonio. We cruised during the day but an evening cruise would be even better! Very scenic and "captains" provide a good overview of points of interest along the way.
The Rio Taxi is the way to begin your visit to San Antonio. The drivers are knowledgeable about the area and can answer any question. The Taxi goes around the Riverwalk and up the river to its source including through the locks. Along the way the driver points out many attractions. You can leave the taxi and pick it up... More
I kind of have to go against most of the reviews of this attraction. I felt it was a little light weight on the value scale. We had a guide that obviously has been here a while but was more of a comedian than tour guide. Having said that there isn't much outstanding to point out on the river walk.... More
A friend and I took a minute from our busy day to enjoy the cruise and I am happy that we did! Our boatman was awesome, so funny. I could have gone twice it was such fun but didn't. Please spend the $8.25 (or less) and enjoy a good 35-40 minutes!!
The guides are very well informed and make your 35 minute roundtrip tour of the Riverwalk quite interesting. We learned something different from each of the two times we went on the cruise, so not every guide provides the same information. The boats are comfortable and fun to ride. No trip to the Riverwalk is complete without a river cruise.
One of the things I had always wanted to do is the river cruise in San Antonio. My husband and I found it to be very enjoyable and a nice way to relax after walking around. Interesting commentary from the guide/driver. Very little leg room but our boat was not full so the seats facing us were not taken. $6... More
I hope that's what I'm reviewing. Tickets were reasonable. The ride was a nice break in the afternoon after the Alamo. Our boat guide pointed out everything that we should know about along the river. It was so nice, we did it again another day. Enjoyable.
