This is a great beach. Plenty of room for tons of people. The break is really low and calm so you can always get out in the water and take a dip. I love this beach park. The possibilities for outdoor fun are endless. Get out there!

Its beautiful, like the rest of the island, I didn't spent so much time there, but I prefer Waikiki...
Just a stone's throw from the Ala Moana Hotel and a good place to walk and relax. There was a canoe race the day we visited and that was fun to watch.
The views from the park were lovely with some good photo opportunities however the toilet facilities were lower than average and there were a lot of homeless people in the park making it feel uncomfortable. I definitely wouldn't visit this area without my husband.
I liked everything about it. If you're walking from the parking lot towards the beach, I preferred the beach on the right. The beach on the left had too many rocks!
This is the beach locals enjoy in Honolulu. Large beach, amenities, parking available. Nice to watch the sun set here before going to dinner. Fun to watch people paddle boarding.
I always swim here when I visit Oahu. You are away from the main crowds of Waikiki yet still close to the Ala Moana Mall. The water is always good and there is an area to swim protected if the waves are strong.
This is the best location for 4th of July firework show. It is very crowded, but the location is great. We would hit the Ala Moana Mall during the day then head over to the park to see the firework show. The only downside to this is there is a bit of a homeless community that stays over there, but...

I really really liked this beach. Its nice and clean, much quieter than Waikiki beach and it has public toilets! You must go here at least once
Super place to walk and exercises.... mornings and evenings are more comfortable in the warmer periods.... yes, it is very close to the Moana Shopping Mall (largest mall on Oahu....)...... Ala Moana is close to several Waikiki Hotels.....
