We rented boots, socks, and sticks from here and the guy was great, friendly and informative. Highly recommend and right at the entrance of the park.
Zion Outfitter is right next to Cable Mountain Lodge, and steps away from the foot bridge to the Visitor Center, at Zion NP. I stayed at the Lodge the first week of October 2013. A week before I arrived, I had decided to book a last minute solo guided hike up the Narrows with Zion Outfitter. James was extremely helpful,... More
Service: Rented Narrows gear for our family of five. Staff was very patient and helpful in finding the right size shoes for our kids, and answered all of our questions. Price: comparable to the other outfitter in town. We even received a small discount for staying in the Cable Mountain Lodge. Location: outstanding, as it's literally right next to the... More
We rented a bike ($15) and trailer for the toddler ($10) for 2 hours. Easy and not too expensive alternative to hiking that the toddler loved. Service was friendly and helpful, and the location made it painless.
We had been planning on renting gear from another shop down the road. But, we stumbled on Zion Outfitters and couldn't have been happier. They are located just on the other side of the Zion main gate. You don't need to ride the Springdale shuttle bus to get there. We rented boots, socks and walking sticks. The people at the... More
I rented the boots, socks, and walking stick for the Narrows hike and was glad I did. I don't think I would have lasted as long (8 hrs.) if I had not had them. It was quick to get it all and quick to return. Very nice staff. Not too expensive.
Convenient $15/per person. You can pick up the tubes very near the park entrance, the put in is just behind the shop. Float 2 miles. Short walk up the hill where you leave the tubes and take the Springdale shuttle back. Great views. It's shallow even in monsoon season so I ran aground a lot and you have to keep... More
I went through a technical slot canyon in Zion back in March (2013) and luckily I went to talk with Zion Outfitters before-hand. The staff helped/told us to rig my group up with drysuits, neoprene socks, neoprene gloves because the water was still COLD. Turns out it wasn't just cold, but had ice on it. I'm glad I talked to... We went in to check out the shop and the girls were so helpful and friendly we decided to rent some gear for the narrows hike. One girls suggested we check out Order ville and walstreet. I'm really glad we did! It was amazing and way more beautiful than wall street! The next day we decided to rent some bikes... More
We went to Zion Outfitter because they were right next door to Cable Mountain Lodge, where we were staying. Before our trip, I had emailed with some questions about doing the Narrows, and they replied with lots of detailed information. Their equipment is good. Prices reasonable, plus you get 10% off if you're staying at CML. Very convenient location. It's... More
