We took a trip to PR in early May 2013. We did the biobay kayak tour with Yokahu. Yokahu did a great job getting us organized before paddling out to the channel. They were all very friendly. Once we got through the channel to Laguna Grande, we were amazed. The dinoflagellates were so bright & beautiful. It is not necessary... More

The Yokahu staff were great! We were kayaking for the first time, and were not able to keep up with the group, but we were attended constantly by the Staff (Joshua/ Micheal) It was such a great experience, once we were in the bay we got a glimpse of the full moon and a post shower Rainbow! It was amazing!... More

Yokahu staff did a great job (Tony is the bomb!), explaining our adventure and putting everyone at ease. We took the 6:30 trip, showed up 15 minutes before, they had our name down and had noted that we had paid, we were in the kayak 15 minutes later. I liked the early trip, it was nice to have some light... More

So much fun!!! The lagoon, mangroves, and its bioluminescence is as awesome as everyone says. And the kayaking itself was a fun adventure as well, even for a non-athletic person such as myself...I found it a fun game trying not to paddle straight into the mangrove trees in the darkness ;) I saw a couple of adults sharing their kayaks... We did this trip last week, as the Moon was waning to new.... This made for a naturally dark night, but the light pollution from Fajardo is a real pain... They need to work to diminish that... But, the Bay is great! The dinoflagellates are awesome. You don't need to be an expert kayaker by any means....in fact my boyfriend... More

My husband and two children, ages 16 and 9 and myself travelled to Icayco Island with Luis, the captain and Tito, his first mate on a private snorkel tour. We had an amazing time. Luis was informative and helped us completely from learning how to snorkel and giving us tips where the best viewings were; to bringing us the eqipment... More

We registered online for the 8:30pm April 3rd kayak tour of the bio bay. We booked nearly a week before and many of the competing companies had no openings given that we were scheduling our tour during spring break. Yokahu is one of the smaller kayak tour companies listed on Tripadvisor, but their reviews were solid and they had a... More

The late evening Bio-Bay Tour was amazing. The tour leaders teach you all the safety and basic kayaking instruction at the beginning on the tour so you don't need any prior experience. They were very helpful, friendly, and patient in making sure that everyone felt secure. We started out paddling in the ocean to get to the narrow mangrove inlet,... More

If you are looking for something fun to do, consider going on an evening bioluminescence kayak trip with Yokahu. The guide gives a basic instruction on paddling the tandem kayak. No prior experience is necessary, Our group was fairly large, about 20 kayaks. We followed in a single file down a dark mangrove creek until we entered a large lake.... More
