This is one of the most idyllic beaches I have ever been to. As soon as you step on to the white sands and see the crashing surf and crystal clear waters you are entranced by its beauty. We loved this place and my partner voted it the best beach she saw on the island. As previous posters have commented,... More

Another beautiful beach for bodysurfing if you are a fairly good swimmer . Great photo opportunity. Bring a lunch spend a few hours !

Bottom Bay is simply divine. We had a visit here and bought a coconut cocktail from the guy on the beach. It was heaven - fresh, and icy cold, with the islands own Mount Gay rum. Give these guys a break everyone - in their own way they are just trying to earn a living. The sea is stunningly beautiful... More

A beautiful bay to stop by whilst travelling the island, quite hard to find but so so worth it! Huge cliffs and rolling blue seas, white sand and if your lucky you'll be the only ones there !

You're lucky if you can find it in St. Philip parish. The streets are like a maze. We were stunned by how gorgeous the site was, but the waves are too big to go into the water....granted we were there under a full moon. Overall, worth the adventure to find it!

Bottom bay is truly stunning to view. Unfortunately, with its growing popularity, there are people loitering around trying to get money out of you and it is not nice to be harassed and asked if you want to buy drugs or women, in addition to others trying to sell coconuts. Given it is a small beach, this makes the experience... More

An absolutely beautiful spot. We spent 30 mins here taking photos and talking to the guy selling his beads and shells. Park at the top of the side road that leads down to the sea (bottom bay is signposted from the main road). Then it's two minutes down some wooden steps. Be aware, it's just a beauty spot. Don't even... More

Very scenic and when we were there quiet. We have visited for many years and the surrounding area is changing and land being built on which is a shame but it is still good. Sea is great for good swimmers - big waves but not for children or those not confident.

This beach is a real gem. Secluded and pristine. Great for picnics and walking. The undercurrent is real strong. Not recommended for swimming. Next door is Harrysmith. Same thing.
