Take a tour of the valley from a local. We got a chance to see the valley in a new point a view. As well we had a chance to make sugar cane juice and eat freshly picked guavas!

Nice nature and cheaper area than e.g. Havana.
Hard to or almost impossible to connect to internet here however.
We were unlucky with the weather when we were there and could mostly be indoors, but the views form the bus were beautiful, and some walks around Viñales village were possible to make.

Loved the valley and Vinales itself. Absolutely beautify scenery and so peaceful after Havana. Stayed for 2 nights and would definitely recommend a trip here.

We visited this place from a cruise of Islands of the Atlantic on Voyager. The trip to this valley was worth every penny. There was an interesting tour through Havana then a two hour drive to reach here through some interesting countryside and the town of Pinar del Rio.
The valley was spectacular, it looked like something from Jurassic Park....

Especially from Hotel Los Jazmines parking lot. We drove through the valley towards La Palma and Bahia Honda. A beautiful route over a (sometimes) mediocre way.
Lovely casa and great hospitality: "We were made very welcome by the owners Ridel and Claribel. Not only were they very friendly and helpful, they also gave tips to visit the beautiful countryside around and in Vienales and suggested a trip on horseback wich was wonderful and interesting.
How was the food?:The food was excellent and tasteful, there was even to...

The valley is a nice place to explore for a few days. Visit a few farmers for information about tobacco and coffee. Horse back riding, hiking, biking, all great.
I cannot recommend taking a trip out to Vinales Valley if you visit Cuba. We went as a day trip from Havana and was by far the most amazing place and experience of our trip.
We had a long day but did so much, visited a rum distillery, cigar factory, tobacco plantation and farmers house, where I got a free hand...
