I must agree with all the other reviewers: this is one of the best winery tours & tastings you will find. Nicoletta is a superb guide and very forthcoming about the winery, the lovely history, and the Montalcino area. Our dear friend David led us here and while it was the second winery we went to that day, we were... More

My wife and I had a great experience at Ciacci Piccolomini. Nicoletta was a very personable and knowledgeable guide, discussing the interesting history as well as the agricultural and vinification processes of the estate. The tasting after the tour was outstanding in two ways; first the relaxed pace and comfortable surroundings (especially for a larger producer) and secondly the high... More

Since visiting the Winery last September, both my wife and I have dreamed of a return visit. It turned out to be our most wonderful day of the 9 days we spent in Italy. The winery and the area around it were absolutely wonderful; however it was the genuine kindness, professionalism, and caring exhibited by Nicoletta that truly made the... More

If you are ever going to visit a Winery this is the one! First of all the wines are exceptional and having been to the winery on several occasions, I have been struck with the passion for wine, specifically Ciacci's Italian Brunellos . As a result I have now collected many of their great vintages and have a wine cellar.... More

Wife and I had trouble finding this place on a pre-cruise, but it was well worth it. Nicoletta deserves her reputation as a tour guide. The tour and wine tasting was great. Way off season, very quiet in late November. The bread and olive oil were just as good as the wine or better. We bought more oil than wine,... More

two names, one idea.Nicoletta is very famous here in tripadvisor due to her magnificent work.during the walk trough the winery she points to a wall where dozens of keys are hung.these keys are from the properties Mr.Bianchinni had from heritage.the story is fantastic:Mr Bianchinni worked for Ciacci and began to make wine with success and as Ciacci died without any heir... My husband and I stopped here on our week-long trip through Tuscany. We absolutely fell in love. The only downside (as others have mentioned) - is that it's a bit hard to find as the addresses differ on tripadvisor and google. But we got there! And Nicoletta was more than understanding, and was able to take us on an unbelievable... More

it takes a long and winding strada bianco to get there but the wine is great, we especially appreciated the rosso of 2010 and even back home we still appreciated it very much

We had a wonderful experience at this winery with Nicoletta as our tour guide. The story of the vineyard is an experience in itself - and the wine tasting was absolutely delicious. We had five wines served with bread and olive oil - all were wonderful, and of course the Brunello Pianorosso truly outstanding. Highly recommended.

This was one of the most wonderful experiences of our trip to Italy. We had a delightful time with Nicoletta, who was knowledgeable, professional, and a delightful young woman to spend time with. We learned a great deal about the Winery, the countryside, and the Italian way of life as well. She was so very nice, even when I accidentaly... More
