The numerous waterfalls in the two valleys was breathtaking. The pathways, walkways and bridges are well maintained. At the head of the valley before descending into the other for our return, we found a welcome ice cream vendor. The downside was the litter - countless numbers of plastic bottles floating around the bases of the waterfalls. Plastic bags full of... More

We went to do this walk today but in the end didn't do so due to the £12, yes £12, fee for two adults to walk a trail the majority of which is on open access land anyway. We didn't even need to take advantage of the car park as we had already parked in the village. We ended up... More

We did the trail on a warm June day, and it was very pleasant, and enjoyable. Not too many people about as it was a week day. I wouldn't want to do it on a busy day, it would spoil the experience of being in the countryside if their were too many people about. It took us just over 2.5... More

We live fairly locally but had never done the waterfall trail. I initially resented paying £6 each for a walk but having done it I can see that there's a lot of paths to maintain in fairly inaccessible locations, so it's probably tolerable, and is supportng the local economy. As described the main purpose of this walk is to see... More

Well signposted, pleasant walk. The café halfway around was not open which may disappoint some people, but it had been raining in the morning so they may only open on certain days, we visited on a Weds.

We were lucky to have the sun, and had been given a tip to duck off the trail for the limestone pavements.

This is a wonderful walk, beautiful scenery throughout. It's 4.5 miles & took us 2.5 hours as we stopped along the way to take plenty of photos. There's plenty of steps up & down the whole way but we saw people of all ages enjoying the walk & views. I love this walk as there is so much to see... More

We're a young couple with a dog and had been planning on coming here for a while. With the weather being nice we decided to give it a try. I thought that paying £12 for 2 adults is expensive, especially when 2 adults and 3 kids is only another £2. I saw more kids dropping litter and going off the... More

I didnt find it an easy walk and there was a lot of steps along the way. But that was not a problem! Nordic walk sticks are no good. I cant remember baing a fee to access the waterfall trail, but I think that we had to pay for the car park that also links with the way to the... More

Nice walk, pretty scenery but having to pay for a walk?? Quite easy underfoot, those less able may struggle in places but generally an easy walk - nothing like true upland walking.
