Cool beach if you are in the mood for a beach hotel environment!! Fun for kids and lots of movement! The beach is clean and the water is great, very few rock & corals!

Beautiful beach, but much better if you stay in a resort. It is crowded with them. We stayed in a regular hotel and had to search for "public" areas. Some of them were crowded with sellers, others were dirty. But the real problem of the beach was that there were no restaurants or any other place to buy food, water... More

The coral reefs for snorkeling are amazing!!!! I loved everything about it. I did wish it wasn't so crowded. It turns out we went over spring break. Oops.

a small beach squeezed between all inclusive resorts. Safe but a little dirty. really nice sand and relatively calm water with little current. good for children under supervision

The beach in the town proper is very small. There are many restaraunts of varyingbquality within walking distance to the beach as well as the usual tourist "gift shops" . We werevhere because the dive boats leave from the harbor. The water is extraordinarily clear and clean.

Liked the cleanliness of the beach but didn't like the stalls on the beach, stayed mainly around the hotel, spa in hotel absolutely amazing, with waterfall pool to swim in.

The part of the beach that is accessed from the town of Bayahibe itself is mediocre at most, very crouded, pounding music, vendors, stores, more vendors... If you have a car, drive further South, enter the gates of Parque dell Este (short unpaved piece of road), turn 50 yards right and... here you go! Away from all inclusives mega complexes,... More

We were in town a few days and used the public beach. It's a nice sandy beach, the water is clear and there was plenty of towel room. Bring towels, drinks, food, not too much there to buy.

Amidst miles of beachfront, developers were oh so generous to allow non all-inclusive visitors and locals a small patch of beach wedged between the gross land grab at the hands of the all inclusives. That's what is called Dominicus Beach. You cannot even lie on the beach without listening to the pounding club music from Wyndham. That said, the beach... More
