This is an excellent venue in a beautiful country setting. Big trees and interesting sculptures. Real ostriches. Great shop with African emphasis.
    The food was simply delicious.

An opportunity to sample a very wide range of honey's, all organic.
The visitors shop had a wide range of honey based products and other memorabilia, the staff were very friendly and helpful.

I was not exactly sure what I was booking but S&S came highly recommended from our B&B hosts so we gave it a shot.

This is unlike any wine tasting I have ever done in the world, and I am a veteran of over 200+ wine tasting. Set in a large room with a massive big screen TV, this is part video, part lecture/class and part wine tasting. Some of the wines are exceptional (we bought 2 to take home to USA). Jason our host is extremely knowledgeable and I learned more about wine making and more about NZ wine in 2 hours then all the other wine tasting we did in NZ combined.

    Not to be missed.

They lovely lady was so welcoming to me as a solo traveler, she went into detail of the history and the vines and the land in which the vines are planted. wine is great and I would recommend it to people driving by.

Such a fantastic place to have in Havelock. It’s a beautiful drive up here. The trains are amazing and for all ages. Great place to bring visitors. In the summer they often have a ice cream van. Good price. Great staff.

A number of great well signposted walks around this area. We followed the route to the giant redwoods which was a lovely 50 minute round walk from the main car park. Recommended

This walk was straight off a main road in Havelock North. Parking was on the main road. The sign said it was 1.6 Km return so it's not long but still very enjoyable. It's a laid path alongside a stream and under a canopy of trees. Lovely but too short.
