Short beautiful walks just around the small village in Sneem and the kids loved it! They loved running around the pyramids and checking inside (nothing special inside but still a lot of fun).

Take a tour with Ribtrips and ask if Lucy, the marine biologist is available to accompany you. It's a wild ride, but safe enough for the over 50s. Not for little ones. Dolphins swam alongside, we explored the calf, cow and bull rocks as well as some caves. Fabulous.

The Muller family have run this studio for as long as I can remember and there is a wide selection of artwork to view and buy. You can also look at the wonderful hand-built boats (some of which are work in progress). You always feel that you are welcome, even if you only there just look around.

This wasn't something I expected to find passing through Sneem but the memorial gives you all the information you need about why it is there and the connection of President DeGaulle to the area. It was good to see.

This is a memorial to the late president of Ireland, Cearbhall O'Dalaigh, a name I am not sure how to pronounce. It is located on the square and consists of some metal pieces painted white. I would describe it as very modern and very abstract and located in a village that looks more fanciful and colorful. Evidently, Mr. O'Dalaigh retire here, died here and is buried here. I am just not a great fan of this kind of modern, metal, abstract art.
