"We wanted a little day trip for a hike (coming from Medford) and this turned out to be a great spot. The park is well maintained, lots of historic artifacts, a great reservoir with fishing, and excellent walking trails. We also encountered several mountain bikers (all very pleasant and respectful)...". Overall, we spent about an hour hiking. This is a good time for wildflowers, not too hot, plenty of shade and if there was poison oak, we didn't see it. Nice!
