What travellers are saying
- RICART75Peru, IN2,185 contributionsOnce again a visit Myrtle Beach for us, meant an afternoon enjoying the pleasures of this complex.
Being a holiday weekend, with unseasonably warm weather; this was the busiest we've experienced Broadway at the Beach in February. It wasn't overwhelming, but it certainly had more of a traffic flow (which was kind of interesting to watch while sharing ice-cream, sitting outside of Kilwins).
B at the B is kind of a condensed version of the Myrtle Beach area overall; plenty of shops to explore, restaurants to satisfy cravings, attractions to amuse & enjoy, and areas to wander...ranging from touristy to upscale, kitschy to quality, reasonable to pricey, unique to mundane and engaging to silly.
We enjoy the off-season; when crowds are low, staff are unharried and welcoming, lines are undaunting, urchins are contained, and humidity/perspiration is low.
Regardless the time of year, however; this area is well worth a visit.Written March 16, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It is definitely expensive, $112 for 2 hours, but we thought parts of the aquarium were very well done. The tunnel with the sharks and other marine life was one of the coolest I’ve done at an aquarium. The penguin exhibit was very nice as well.Written March 15, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Rae RMoretown, VT179 contributionsA great way to view the beach and city. Air conditioned, large glass gondola.
We purchased the photo/ticket package beforehand so we have a pic of the two of us to remember a great trip ( plus it was a discount!!)Written March 16, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Ended up being a great display of talent, singing and performing classic Motown hits. The performers were very engaging and told a story as they filled in with hits from the greats in Motown history. Even did a little memorial of the some of the greats who have passed on.
Loved the show and would go again when in the area! Thank you!!Written March 16, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Paul ASweetwater, TN16 contributionsFull hook up sites are terrible. We’ve camped in a lot of places, but by far this was the worst in terms of a full hook up, set up. The sewer pipe is really high off the ground. That means, we couldn’t let gravity do the work to offload our black and gray tanks. They had to be nursed through the hose. Not fun. I didn’t notice any sites throughout the campground where the sewer hose was flush with the Earth to allow for gravity. It sure seems like a design flaw to me.
Otherwise, the campground was great, wooded, quiet, and very close to the beach.Written March 12, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We had a great experience at all three attractions. - RICART75Peru, IN2,185 contributionsWe usually like to explore this area at least once each year, when we visit Myrtle Beach.
It's an ilnteresting counterpoint to the more overtly touristy and kitschy parts of the area (not better, in that kitschy has its own charm....just a bit more subdued).
It's a comfortable place to browse; with a variety of shops, restaurants and temptations from which to choose (we tend to succumb to Uncommon Chocolatier, Coldstone Creamery, etc.).
There are also nearby paths and open spaces, offering even more of a relaxing atmosphere. Being we were there mid-week, off-season; everywhere was quite laid-back.
All and all, a nicely envisioned community; well worth a visit.Written March 16, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Two couples looking for something near Broadway on the beach, the hour went by so fast playing. Love this even more as we learned on our way out it’s volunteer run and money goes to charity. Great way to give back and have some fun.Written March 10, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Dave IWestover, MD947 contributionsThe weather is great this weekend, 70s, sunny, and not very crowded considering it a jeep weekend. - Felicia BMorrisville, NC243 contributionsTodd was exceptional and greatly appreciated! He provided great patience and professional service as I planned my family's 2023 Family Gathering in Myrtle. I sought and requested a family gathering (group seating at the baseball games) and Todd provided a wonderful experience for us both nights. - Mona O3 contributionsNice set up and nice stores. It was very quiet. Not too many people. Prices are on the high side.
