What an amazing experience. But firstly i must warn people not to go to the Irving Museum, which was a long two mile walk to the real Ruth Paine House. On Google Maps it is marked up as being at the Irving Museum.
I arrived late but i was made to feel very welcomed by the guide. I was welcomed into the house with a smile. She spoke about the history of the house, answered questions and listened to what i had to say also. She also assisted in sharing her wifi so i could book an Uber back to the train station. I had free reign to look at all the rooms and take as many photographs as i wanted. The house is fascinating. To know what went on here in November 1963,and that Ruth Paine lived here with Marina Oswald for a short time, and that Lee Oswald was here on weekends, makes the house unique and a part of American and World history.
There is an original lamp and large speaker in the living room. Also the fitted kitchen units and light fittings are original, and i believe the bathroom is also original.
I have a big interest in the assassination of JFK, and all the history surrounding it. So this was a must see for me.
The experience once i got to the house was perfect, as was the guide.

Beautiful and must see in Las Colinas!!
The statues and area have been updated and restored to original beauty, but it seems the water and lighting are not always functional?!!
Lights and water must be functional for full appreciation of this beautiful artwork!!
Also, the indoor museum hours need to be expanded!!

I’ve come here many times and will bring a coffee or meal with me since I usually stay a while to watch the planes.

The take off and landing are subject to the weather conditions and if you know the lingo you can listen to the overhead speaker instructing the planes from air traffic control.

They have a special section dedicated to our military where kids or the young at heart can shoot off a small water cannon signifying our troops coming home.

On days that you see groups of photographers with expensive and large looking cameras I would recommend you ask them what they’re waiting for. I’ve spoken to a few of these folks, they’ve always been extremely knowledgeable and willing to share insight on when the next big plane is coming. It’s almost become a cult following. On my last visit one of them showed me the app they use and I stuck around a little longer to watch a British Airway double decker 747 take off.

There are plenty of benches and usually lots of parking. It doesn’t cost anything to come here. My only critic is I wish they would be able to eradicate the fire ants that always bite my feet when I visit. They keep the grass well watered and maintained. Myself and others will kick off our shoes and get as close as we can to the planes.

Enjoyed a morning walk around the canal before the heat of the day promotes relaxation and the retreat to air conditioning

The Irving Arts Center truly has something for everyone. On over 10 acres, the center boasts two performance halls (where every seat is a good one), meeting rooms, a sculpture garden, a main art gallery and multiple display areas for painting, sculpture and special exhibits including book illustrations, photography, Peruvian gold and much more. The center is an affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution, making it possible to secure notable exhibitions from local, regional and national artists and institutions.
The center offers activities for all ages and engages with the community at large. This year, we have already seen the fabulous Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo, The Mainstage production of "Intimate Apparel," and several art exhibits. The staff is always friendly and helpful and we look forward to returning.

A comfortable venue for smaller conventions and business gatherings, surrounded by hotels and restaurants, making it convenient for a 2-3 day event. Not necessarily by any city attractions or local color. Mostly a business neighborhood constructed for this purpose. Only a couple food venues available within the convention center and one was closed, causing a serious backup at the lunch hour. IT/AV staff was not available before my session, but intruded after it already began to make minor and obtrusive adjustments to the LCD projector and screen.

I went on a Saturday afternoon/evening. I jogged on the trail portion just north of downtown, and the portion next to Trinity Park (under the Lancaster Avenue Bridge).

The north-of-downtown portion is nice and quiet, there weren't too many people there. There's a bike path and pedestrian path. Very beautiful views of the Forth Worth skyline, and especially nice because it is fall, and you can see the leaves changing color. There's a drive in theater along the trail, and also a nice brewery (Panther Island Brewing) if you get off the trail and walk for about 15 minutes. I parked for free elsewhere and walked to this park, but if you want to use the park's lot then you'll have to pay (not sure how much it is, I didn't look).

The Trinity Park/Lancaster avenue portion is a bit south downstream. Parking along the street is free. There's more people but it wasn't terribly crowded when I went. It's a great place to watch the sun set, and there's a very nice pedestrian bridge where you can get some good views. There's also a waterfall where you can climb down and get close to the water. Just be careful not to slip and fall. The only downside to going in the evening is that there's a bunch of gnats, so make sure to keep your mouth closed when biking/jogging and clean off your shirt before getting in your car so you don't have bug corpses all over your seat!

This is a very special worship space. It is a calm within the storm of busy Dallas. While it is plain, it is beautiful in its simplicity. Worship services are beautiful with the monks chanting.

Incredible experience. Something for everyone. All tours are led by a docent. Constantly expanding, therefore as more time goes by the experience will get better. Fantastic history stories to go with each artifact. I will attend again.

We drove from Wallbuilders and were told about the experience there and then drove over from Alido, TX to see if we could attend. Even though it says on the website that you cannot do same day tours they let us have one. Jenna provides an incredible tour even though she had only started working there 6 months prior to my tour. Very hands on tour that lets you hold artifacts.

It's pretty, especially during seasonal events. They do put a lot of effort in to keep it looking great. If you want to stop and take pictures, park above in the lot for the Corner Bakery, Jimmy Johns, Chipotle, etc and make a lunch and photo op out of it. In winter in the evening, they expand the lighting to include the entire surrounding green space. Sort of a winter wonderland effect. Driving past it daily and I still find it spectacular at times.

I have been coming here for years - I get the flex package and invite friends to go with me for low price tickets. Great seats, free parking, always a good program. Austin schedules some of the pieces that are new to me instead of just all old chestnuts, and introduces each one - giving me extra information and a clue as to what to listen for. First class concerts!
