What travellers are saying
- Steve BGold Coast, Australia37 contributionsYes it’s a dirt road, yes it’s $5 per car but yes it’s still worth having a look. It’s unusual , not too long of a walk & it’s photogenic so why wouldn’t you check it out.Written February 28, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Steve BGold Coast, Australia37 contributionsI drove from Wanaka to Omarama today & did Lindis Pass on the way. I stopped three times to take photos as it was so beautiful. I imagine it would be even nicer with a bit of snow on the mountains but I was pleased with my view today. Hopefully my photos encourage you to check it out.Written February 28, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - CarisemilieLondon, UK6 contributionsA well sign-posted track that is fairly easy to navigate. There are some steep areas, so descending wasn't particularly fun - but the views up the top are sensational! I would say the track is moderately difficult, but we managed okay with average fitness. There aren't too many shaded areas, so water and sunscreen is a must. There is also no toilet nearby, so make sure you start on empty.Written February 6, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MadeleineLondon, UK18 contributionsIt’s just a statue on the side of the road, but a very nice sheep at that. I wouldn’t make a special trip to it but definitely deserves a photo and a pat if you are passing.Written January 14, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The tubs are very private and are filled with glacial water - no chemicals. Alternating a cold shower and then soaking is really invigorating and relaxingWritten February 29, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Beautiful corrugated iron hues on the back of the building. Pity we can't go inside anymore - but still can view through the open door.Written February 12, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - JohnTSanAntoneSan Antonio, TX360 contributionsGreat place to stop and shop. Also a great place to eat with some friendly sheep out back. We had beef pie, chicken pie, hot dogs, and BLAT. All were excellent with very friendly service.Written September 19, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The group's performances are consistently excellent. Energy and spirit are two words to associate with this group. Koru is a very special outfit which people in the local area can feel privileged to support.Written February 12, 2012This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
