- Mark HIrvine, CA238 contributionsGreat museum with an attractive layout and good views of the Valley. Liked the cafe and each floor of the museum! Underneath the migrating birds on the ceiling, is a map of the Great Salt Lake through the ages. The UGuest Wi-Fi is tricky to access because you need to enter your phone number as a username and an access code. If you have to switch screens to find the code, then the login disappears and you start over. Some of the staircases could be marked for those with low vision: add a stripe of paint across the top step and across the bottom step.Written February 18, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Cryptic_TouristSaint Louis, MO742 contributionsGuys, I cannot express enough how much my group loved this place. We had it on our backup list of places to go and I’m SO glad we made the trip out. It wasn’t far at all from SLC and we only had time to do the scenic drive up but it was so worth it. The fall colors were being dusted by one of the first snowfalls of the season and it was truly magical and gorgeous. I can’t wait to return!Written October 21, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- dambankerToronto, Canada1,232 contributionsHad some time to kill so I made a quick stop in here. Lots of on street parking right out front on this day. Took a quick walk around outside as the views from here are pretty cool. The architecture inside and out was impressive. The main hall was being used for wedding photos, so I didn't want to interfere and cut my walk about short. Interesting building and worth a visit for the views if nothing else.Written February 22, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - AuroraSpooner, WI238 contributionsWe went with the intention of seeing the organ recital and it did not disappoint.
Lots of construction in Temple Square so was concerned about getting in because most of the block is gated, but we found our way. We had two missionaries speak us and they were very timid, sweet and asked us alot of questions about our selves in a way that was a nice convo, not forced.
The organist was amazing, the pieces were picked to show off the organ and it was incredible. Loved the lights as well.

- Gilles Tremble4 contributionsWalking up to its majestic spires and intricate details, I felt a sense of awe and reverence. The surrounding gardens and reflecting pool add to the serenity of the place, making it a perfect spot for quiet contemplation. What struck me most was the atmosphere inside; it's calm and peaceful, a sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Whether you're religious or not, the temple's architecture and the sense of tranquility inside make it a must-visit. It's not just a religious site; it's a testament to human craftsmanship and the beauty of spiritual sanctuaries. A visit to the Salt Lake Utah Temple is an experience that lingers, leaving you with a sense of wonder and peace.Written November 9, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
