
Larnaca is a city on the coast of Cyprus with a population of under 150,000. It is a major seaport for the country of Cyprus and trade and tourism drive most of the economy.
Tourists can enjoy Larnaca’s coastline while walking the Larnaca Promenade, which spans almost the length of the city that borders the Mediterranean.

It is the largest airport on Cyprus and a hub for Cyprus Airways and Eurocypria. Each year over 5,000,000 travellers pass through Larnaca International Airport.
Just fewer than 50,000 flights arrive at or depart from Larnaca each year. Cyprus Airways flies the most frequently, followed by Malev Hungarian Airlines, Monarch, and Aeroflot. Around 50 airlines fly regularly scheduled routes into Larnaca, including a variety of low cost and major carriers. Cyprus Airways and Eurocypria fly to the most destinations.
