
China's Yellow River and Yangtze River are connected by the Grand Canal of China. Tianjin sits at the northern end of the canal.
The city of Tianjin continues to build up their public transportation system. There are more than 400 bus lines and 26 kilometres of Metro track. Construction to extend new metro lines is ongoing.
Visitors can get to Tianjin via road, rail, or flight. Tianjin Binhai International Airport (TSN) handles flights to the region, is a hub for Okay Airways and Tianjin Airlines, and is a focus city for Air China. China Southern and China Eastern Airlines also both operate flights frequently to Tianjin Binhai.
Make sure to go see one of the many tea houses in the city. Inside, a Cha Si will prepare and present the tea while giving the customer an opportunity to taste and smell the varieties.
If travelling with children, consider making a stop at Shuishang Park, a small amusement park that has water rides, zoo, and boats for hire.
