  • 1. Sharky's
    Sharky's, Panama City Beach

FAMILY OF 4 LOVED THIS PLACE!! We went at about 9pm on a Friday. Of course the wait was horrible, but we didn't mind because we sat at the bar and had a couple drinks while our kids played on the HUGE treasure ship style playground right on the beach!! I can't imagine why anyone would complain. Our waiter was awesome and friendly. We had oysters, Mahi Mahi, grilled shrimp, kids hamburgers, and kids shrimp. All of us loved it. The atmosphere was great, it was fun for us as adults with the bar and live music, yet still famly friendly with the playground beachside and all the kids around. It is hard to find a mix of those 2 things, and this was the place.

They also have a GREAT breakfast buffet that was under $10 for adults and FREE for kids, and I don't mean babies, my kids are 6 and 8.
    Can't wait to go back.

Shipwreck Island Waterpark, Panama City Beach

WE LOVED THIS!!!! It was clean which is the most important. We rented a locker for $5 all day. The rides were all fun, and between rides there was a wave pool and a lazy river, not to mention several kids pools with waterslides and waterfall type things...we stayed from opening at 10:30 am to 4pm and the time FLEW. We will definately go back next year. The food, in my opinon, was not overpriced as other reviews said. They have pizza, hotdogs, nachos, sodas, ice cream, etc...we all got food and ice cream for under $20 total. This was a great experience, I reccomend it to any family with kids ages 2 - teenage. Something for everyone.

  • 3. Sea Screamer Sunset Cruise

This is a boat that does both day and sunset cruises, including dolphin sightings. Definatley call ahead for a reservation during peak season (they just take your name for the reservation, no credit card needed.) The captain let all the kids sit up by him and they each got to take turns "driving the boat". We went all along the coast while the captain pointed out popular hotels and attractions. There was a kids' pirate boat alongside and we stopped to engage them in a water-gun fight. They offered very inexpensive chips and sodas as well as $2 beer...cheapest beer in Panama City!
And it lasted almost 2 full hours. For all 4 of us, we paid around $65. It was well worth the price. We will definatley go again, in fact we wanted to go a second time during this trip but it was booked for our last 2 nights.
