    http://www.napavalleyonline.com/directory/wsparks.html

Just south of the town of Napa, Kennedy Park offers a bike trail near the Napa River. The trail is two-lane, paved, and mostly level, making it highly suitable for children and those of us who bicycle infrequently. Lots of dog-walkers use the trail too - pooper-scooper bags are provided at intervals along the trail. A duck and geese pond is sure to be popular with the kids. Look for wild birds in the wetlands surrounding the park. A BMX track is planned, projected opening Oct. 2006.

  • 6. Beringer Winery

Even if you don't want to go for a tour, the Beringer grounds are fun to walk around. The gardens are lovely and the historic buildings prove that the wine industry didn't just start yesterday.
