Points of Interest

1. View to Mt Baldy

Looking up towards Mt Baldy and the overlook.

2. Trail

Packed gravel surface makes this an easy trail to follow for most of the loop.

3. Tiny Ferns

Up near the summit of Baskett Slough, there are tiny ferns growing on side of the trail.

4. Hollow Tree

There was a small raccoon in this tree, but he was not very photogenic.

5. Tiny Plants

In the mosses of the trees, there are tiny 3-leaved plants. They were very delicate and seemed to root into the moss itself.

6. Deer and Elk Prints

A deer path crosses the trail here, with fresh hoof prints.
